Stan and Deanna both grew up in the US. Stan likes to say, they are “American by birth, but Australian by the grace of God!” They were married shortly after high school and were blessed with 4 children, who are all married and living nearby. Stan and Deanna have been involved in vocational ministry for 25 years serving in both pastoral and missionary roles. After several years of pastoral ministry in the US, their ministry journey brought them to Australia in 2001 where they pastored 2 different church plants. In 2009, God led them to join the agency SIM to be involved in mission leadership, sending missionaries from Australia around the world. While ministering with SIM, they attended WBC for 7 years and Stan served as an elder for 5 of those years. In February 2018, Stan became our Lead Pastor to take us into a new and exciting season. Along with ministry in the church, Deanna continues to minister with SIM as their Personnel and Member Care Director.
