Jesus taught His disciples how to settle disputes amongst brothers and sisters in the faith (Matt 18) Paul, in turn, taught the Corinthians... and then, it seems, they forgot! Here we see Paul asking with a certain exasperated tone, “do you not know??” We must take the knowledge of Jesus’ teaching and walk with it until it becomes wisdom. Until then, it will just be puffed up knowledge instead of humble, life giving wisdom.
