All of us have been told by a coaster, a poster, or a meme to be our ‘true self’, our ‘best’ or ‘greatest self’ at some time. Perhaps it gave you a few moments of enthusiasm to try but, be honest now, being true, being fully you, is a much grander undertaking than any of the catchphrases let on. Perhaps being honest with yourself is not so much about dealing with the person in the mirror but placing trust in our Maker. To get truly honest takes true trust. Trust that we will find Grace for the ways we stand and fall & peace in the steps we take.
